WOW! Where did the last couple months go?! It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Halloween and now its already 2009?! Well I guess I have a LOT to update on!
Halloween was GREAT! We all dressed up and went to some parties. It was fun to get in costumes and just go crazy for a night.
November:
Well, in the first couple weeks of November I took a snowboarding trip up to SLC to visit my cousins. I had a GREAT time! I met a few great friends and got to catch up with McKelle and Casey. It was a great trip even if I still suck at snowboarding!
Thanksgiving- Who doesn't love thanks giving? I mean come on! haha. You get to eat, be with the ones you love, AND PLAY KICKBALL!!! Which by the way the Pottles would have won if we didn't have to give some of our players to the Martins!!! haha
December- Wow what a month December was! I'm pretty sure I have been out of town more days in December than I have been home!
Early December I was back in SLC for another go at snowboarding. Unfortunately I didn't get to board, but I still had a lot of fun hanging out with family and friends up there and playing in the snow. It was awesome!
Christmas this year was very different from what it normally was. But times are changing so you just have to learn to adjust and make the best of the situation. It was weird to have our first Christmas at home without my mom. I don't know if Christmas will ever be as great as they used to be, but such is life. We all have to make the best of what we have. Sammy and Jared were in Flagstaff with Sammy's family for Christmas so it was just Jenna, Caleb, Dad and I. It was very quiet. But still great to have each other.
My Birthday!!! This year for my birthday I went to California with my 3 best friends! Michelle, Deanna and Elyce. We had SO much fun. I don't think I have ever taken a trip that great. We drove up on Sunday, went to Disneyland all day on Monday, and Went shopping all Tuesday and got home late Tuesday night. It was so much fun! They are all so awesome. I don't think any of us stopped laughing the entire 3 days! I will have to put up the pictures when I get more time.
Well, after getting home on Tuesday night, I unpacked and packed back up and headed back to California on Friday morning with all the girls in the family. Charlotte, Brooke, Catherine, Jenna,Sammy, Linda, Lindsey, Kaylee, Whitney, Deb, Linda copp and Karly. We all took an overnight trip to see Wicked. I loved it!! It was my second time seeing it but it was still amazing! We all had a great time riding around in our 15 pass anger van and singing songs and cracking jokes on each other. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I'm grateful for all the opportunities i have to spend time with family and friends. It makes life worth living. I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by so many great people.
